does delta have a similar promotion? i saw on my aa app that if i fly 2 segments on AA and 2 segments on AS by 9/15/21, i can get 2000 aadvantage miles. not sure if this is AA's attempt to mimic UA's mileplay.

No, but look at the comment I was replying to. The OP stated 45 days wasn't enough time for 3 trips but maybe 90 days was. 3 one-ways are certainly doable in a day. The OP also didn't mention the spend requirement so only they can determine if it is worth it.

since already booked tickets do not count you need to make room for some pretty near-term travel. And this is only RDM ... no PQP. I agree with the OP ... the timeframe is too short to be useful.

I am noted as ineligible...my wife was offered 36,000 miles for flying three trips in a premium cabin.

5,000 miles for 2 trips in a premium cabin, min $400 each.
Flying during the period, but already booked. Fare is now about $250 more, and would have to split into 2 one-ways and actually spend a little more yet. Not even close to worth rebooking.

I'm genuinely not surprised at the offer they presented me for a 1MM *A Gold.
Book and take 2 Trips for 2,800 Extra RDMs ($125 Min Per Trip).
I had much more lucrative bonuses in the past (Book 2, Earn 10k or Book 3, Earn 12k).
I'll stick with AS & DL for the time being.

That said, my mom completed Q1 promo and was offered 2500 bonus miles for $100 minimum fare. My dad who has not flown anywhere this year got 6000 bonus miles for $150 min spend.
