Just thought I'd announce that I've updated the United Upgrade Offer spreadsheet to include the most recent CPU upgrade experiences, along with the latest reported GPU and ToD experiences.

In the coming months I won't be updating this spreadsheet as often due to my commitments at Uni. If anyone is interested in carrying the torch whilst I'm away, feel free to PM me.

Labor Day weekend
 

Two Golds (same PNR) cleared SFO - SEA at T-44. 737-900 with 20 seats in F.
Key variable - flight is on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend.

The "key variable" is it. I would fly that route literally twice a week for three years (basically it was my bus) until recently and you could count the times on one hand I got a CPU upgrade. Even using instruments it is next to impossible. One the Monday AM flight they would ask to board GS and literally 25 suites would get in line. Same thing coming back at night.

United Gold. Upgraded 48 hours out on MEX - IAH.

We (Platinum and non-status) upgraded at T-72 on UA1245 (EWR-ATL / 8/31 / 1855 / 737-800) and while boarding that flight, got upgraded at T-72 for our return on UA410 (ATL-EWR / 9/3 / 1825 / A319).

Wouldn't imagine this is a big route for Elites. I've been upgraded 7/8 times this year.

I have a different experience with GPUs as 7 for 8 for 2017 and waiting for #8 on a November flight. RPUs have been applied and all have taken - so high UG success rate.

26 Sept 2018 - LAX-IAH on 787; Cleared at T-96
28 Sept 2018 - TYS-EWR on A320; Cleared at T-96

Cleared on the PHX-EWR 737-800 redeye this Monday as a Silver on a G fare at T-24 surprisingly. My best upgrade since United went to UDU nine years ago. This puts me at 5/21 on the year which is better than I was expecting.

CPU cleared at T-24 for both me (Silver) and my wife (no status) on the same reservation. W class DEN-SLC 10/5 on ERJ-175. It was especially nice to clear before check-in, as I didn't get asked to split the reservation. There are three seats remaining with 2 on the upgrade list, both non-revs. This one may go out with an empty FC seat. Especially interesting as it's almost a full flight.

10/6 IAD-LGA UA6055

Platinum on a S fare.

Was #2 on upgrade list with 5/6 in First booked.

Not sure what happened to #1 , but I was told to move to F after I got settled in my E+ seat.

Cleared IAD-JAX on Thursday morning departing at 0845 on E175, right at 96 hours!
