Burger was comped as a 1K. $4 charge for the Pringles hit my Chase UA card on Sunday.

As a Chase CC holder, did you get 25% discount? At least, that was true before the pandemic.

I looked at the card via Chase as well as the emailed receipt for that reason - no discount given even though we're still supposed to get it.

Here's the language from the emailed receipt itself:

Should I complain to get $1.00 back?

I've haven't used this perk myself so I don't know for sure but doesn't the language there say it's 25% back as a statement credit? It'll show up on your CC statement at some point, I assume?

Does the credit appear on your monthly statement or is it supposed to be instant? If it is an instant credit even though it is $1 I would call about it. How many times is this happening to a LOT of card holders..

Charge is still pending:

I guess I'll need to wait to see if they take $1.00 off. WRT my AA CC, last time I made an inflight charge, it took the discount off immediately.

JonNYC is reporting on Twitter that all international flights in economy out of ORD will be serving cold entrees due to supply chain issues starting 12/8/21. This is only for ORD departures, not return flights to ORD>

They should do that in the summer, not the winter. ORD is the coldest of UA's hubs. 🥶 My sympathies to those poor persons who suffer this.

I'm wondering if it's really technically a "supply chain" issue or just an issue with the ORD catering kitchen being understaffed?

Indeed, staffing shortages count as a supply chain issue IMHO.
