PlusPoints upgrade request out of sync

Sorry if there's a newer thread, but I am receiving the out of sync message. I also am noticing someone with the same 4 letter combination is on the upgrade list (although significantly lower) on the same flight as me. Have they double booked me on a leg?
I called and was told everything is fine (agent confirmed my plus points were applied correctly and she could see me on the wait list) and to ignore it (before I noticed the second person in the upgrade list with the 4 same letters - and my name letter combo isn't super common).
Should I just roll with it or do I need to call again?
