There were plates to run out of? I don't think I've seen anything but napkins all year...but maybe I was so mesmerized by the pretzels I wasn't paying attention to anything else (except the gun at the bar is out of service, at least for coke so they were handing out cans)

I'm a little surprised DCA's has been so far down the list -- would have assumed that enough DC think-theyre-VIP-types moved through that it would be worth it to UA for marketing/government relations... But I guess those people don't have memberships :-)

I had a nearly 6-hour layover at O'Hare, so I decided to try the UC lounge at B6, since that is where most posters here claimed provided the best lounge food and beverage experience. The only receptionist present when I entered did not know what I was talking about when I asked for a stamp on my ticket so that I could get top-shelf drinks as a Polaris customer. Fortunately, the other receptionist showed up and knew what I was talking about, however, she could not find the stamp, so she took me upstairs and printed copies of my tickets and gave me a card instead to give to the bartender along with the ticket copies. Unfortunately, he was not very cooperative and reluctantly served me a pint of Blue Moon beer.
My lunch at B6. Hot dog with mustard, corn chips, guacamole, and Blue Moon beer. A very satisfying lunch that covered all the food groups.
After consuming the above, I asked the bartender for a glass of their top-shelf wine and this time he was more cooperative. The lounge was fairly busy.

Disappointed with the receptionists confusion and disorganization, I headed to gate C16, the UC club near the Polaris Lounge. This is a smallish lounge but the reception here had a stamp for my ticket.
C16 lounge was reasonably busy but nearly empty when I left for my evening flight.
The bartender here was more cooperative but their cocktail offering was quite limited, so I opted for their top-shelf (not house) wines, which were good. The food offering here though was more limited than that of B6.

Overall, obtaining the Polaris stamp on one's ticket appears to be pretty hit-or-miss and my experience with UC receptionists at B6 did not instill confidence. Good luck to everyone, you'll probably need it.

They used to have a little paper card that you would hand to the bartender to show you are flying Polaris. I’ve also have just shown my boarding pass and that has done the trick.
Personally, I’ve found the C16 club better when flying Polaris. It always had the full advertised selection of premium drink compared to the other location I’ve visited. But very frustrating when the staff doesn’t even know UA policies

I love how ramen noodles have been a staple of UC offerings. I never frequented UC clubs prior to early 2020, so my experience is very biased.
For whatever reasons though, I've noticed the UC in DEN has offered significantly better toppings for their ramen bar over last few months. As in, better sauce packets, but sauce packets only.
I think the offerings at the UC have definitely improved (in DEN as thats my only experience), but it has also been a total luck-of-the-draw as to what you might get since it has changed so frequently.
