sorry if this is a stupid question or point of clarity.... I have this card (United Business Explorer) and it says that I can get extra "employee" cards at no cost....
does the employee - whose name, I assume, will be listed on the card (and probably with the name of my business) be considered a primary cardholder with regards to benefits
...meaning, things like free checked bags? priority boarding? ...assuming, of course, that the employee's card is used to purchase the ticket?

Additional named users are called authorized users, just like a spouse with a personal card. Only the individual named as primary cardholder / the person responsible for paying the card gets the benefit, if not traveling on the same PNR with the primary cardholder.

So this year, I paid the annual fee (via autopay), cancelled the card, got the refund and still got the 5,000 bonus on my statement date a few days later. I don't know if it the bonus would have posted if I had cancelled earlier (and maybe still a chance of clawback?).

Current public offer: 100,000 miles for $5K spend. I got 75,000 miles for the same spend 2.5 months ago, hoping the bonus bump request goes quickly and easily

I currently own a Business MileagePlus card, and I have had it for at least five years. As i understand it I cannot get a new Business Mileage Plus card since I currently have one. If i close my current card, when can i reapply for the card and get the new card and bonus mileage?

Hello all, here is my situation: I currently own a Business MileagePlus card, and I have had it for at least five years. Many different legitimate answers depending on several factors: 5/24, # of Chase cards, total Chase CL, total Chase biz CL, CL to income ratios, etc. Some say it takes Chase 1 week to 3 months to make cancelled credit limit (CL) re-available for a new application.
The most aggressive recommendation is 1 week after account closure, more conservative recommendations are 1 month or 3 months.
Personally, as a relatively (some have written “overly”) aggressive Chase applicant with mostly instant approvals for the past 5 years, the quickest I’d recommend (and did last year) is 31 days, in my case closing on the 31st of a month and re-applying for the identical card on the 1st of the month 31 days later (May 31, July 1).

The $450 annual fee United Club Business card has a current sign-up bonus of 75K miles. This supposedly ends tomorrow. Is this the best offer that has surfaced in recent years for this specific card? Debating if I should join or wait for something better since the personal Club card has seen higher SUB's.

Maybe my spouse should wait a little longer. She got 80K on her Quest in October 2022 (70K plus 10K "bump" / current offer match).

Oh yeah, the referenced bonus bump request did not go smoothly. In fact it was 1 of only 2 or 3 declined bonus bumps among 8-10 approved bonus bumps.
(* strike while the iron is hot: idiom, to take advantage of an opportunity as soon as it exists, in case the opportunity goes away and does not return, derives from a blacksmith striking a horse shoe when the temperature of the metal was exactly right. If the blacksmith waited too long then the metal would cool and would become more difficult to shape. Not many of us here are old enough to remember blacksmiths, fortunately I am

SUBs for different cards are usually significantly different.

If you go to Chase's site, the offer is 75k miles with no fee the first year. https://creditcards.chase.com/busine...-business-card
If you link through United's site, you get 100k miles (but seem to pay the fee in year one). https://www.united.com/en/us/fly/pro...dit-cards.html

When I go to the UA link on my six-year-old Huawei Android phone, I get the blank white page, so I will wait until I am back home with access to another device.
