United 737-900 wings

Taking a look at the seat maps for the ORD-SFO 3-3 737-900s at 3:35p and 4:05p tomorrow, I noticed that while both have 39 rows, the wing front to back by the body of the 3:35p has more distance. Is such a difference common?

Of course I’d rather fly the 8:29a 777-200 3-4-3 53 rows.

Seat maps are not to scale. There are several different 739 layouts with very slight differences to seat pitch in Row 12, but nothing so dramatic as the pixels would suggest.
