Platinum kit arrived at my home in Los Angeles yesterday. I was surprised it came so timely this year. The new card look and baggage tags seem nice, five drink tickets as well. The documents clearly stated no million miler companion card, it’s available on the app. I’m happy!

1K kit arrived while I was in HKG for the first three weeks of the year. Earliest ever for me.

Has any 1K-MM had success requesting the robin's-egg blue handle wrap for their companion yet? Or is this part of the rumored "After Feb 14" threshold...?

Digital or physical cards don't matter to me, but it really waters down this already-spotty benefit if (especially for RJ gate-checks) your bag comes off the plane first, and then you have to stand around with half the plane waiting for your companion's bag to come out. :(

Fyi United values the 1K kit contents at $8 according to the customs form.

I did not get that letter. Below is what I received... only acknowledging my 1K, no mention of me being a Million Miler, nor my companion.

I love the charger! Definitely a perk. A little disappointed on dropping from 10 drink coupons to 5... but in fairness, I give those to my family members, or a stranger that is having a bad travel day.

Received my gs kit yesterday. In addition to all of the above comments, wireless charger didn't work (tried 3 different power sources); Membership Card no longer says "Global Services" on front, and no card fro my wife (I'm a 2 million miler). Little disappointing.

Received my GS kit yesterday. I really like the service recognition cards! :)

What do you have it plugged into? I initially plugged into a free USB port on my keyboard. It cut in and out. Then I got an alert that there wasn't enough power - so make sure you're plugging the USB into a decent sized power block.

MacBook Computer (Sid drawing too much power); wall USB outlet, and Samsung USB adapter.

Got my kit today...and they sent me the Premier Platinum one instead...??? Anyone else have this goof up?

Finally got my 1K kit. Content as described in wiki. Two luggage tags, no straps. Is this Photos on this forum do not show any straps, so I guess this is normal. Money saving measure?
