I was hoping for a travel waiver for EWR for 4March.
Might it still be possibly coming?

Doubtful - weather.com shows EWR as only partly cloudy but windy. Probably under a GDP anyway.

I think likely. Snow isn't supposed to start until later tonight and forecast calls for moderate to heavy snow throughout the night and into the morning.

GDP: Ground Delay Program

Any weather will reduce the arrival rate into EWR and other NYC airports. Which then affects the departure traffic since UA needs to turn those planes around to fly out of EWR.

cagcag asked about waiver extending to cover 4 March. weather.com shows snow ending by 6 or 7 am on 4 March right now with cloudy/sunny/cloudy after that with temperatures above freezing.

If they can keep the runways clear of snow and ice overnight, EWR should operate. I think the bigger concern on 4 March Monday is wind affecting arrival rates with a GDP. But it will be UA's call in deciding whether or not to issue an extension of the waiver anyway.

Other airlines have posted weather waivers for the NYC area extending into tomorrow (March 4, 2019). I'd expect UA to follow through as well, if it hadn't already.

I called 1K desk to verify existence of weather EWR travel waiver. Confirmed by 2 1K agents. Third agent stated that weather waiver was only in effect for 3March, hence no free itinerary change. Maybe I will need to try again tomorrow, 4March.
