Buy UA miles for 1.66c (Purchase IHG pts w/bonus by 15 June '18 & xfer to UA w/bonus)
Until 15 June, there's a 100% bonus when buying IHG points. That makes them 0.5c/pt so long as you buy 26k+. (i.e. 52k+ after bonus)
Until 30 June, there's a 50% bonus when transferring IHG points to United miles. You earn 3k UA miles per 10k IHG, instead of the usual 2k. That makes them 1.67c/mile.
Given that 1.86c/mile is about the least UA has charged in recent times during promotions and 2c/mile appears to be the cheapest price when buying additional miles on an existing booking, this seems like a good deal to anyone who was intending to buy UA miles.
There's a maximum of 200k (100k bought + 100k bonus) on the first offer, so that means a maximum of 60k UA miles can be bought this way.

Same here, got the rebate, but nothing in my United account yet (neither base points nor bonus). My wife transferred points as well, closer to the end of the month. Nothing in her United account yet either.

Just share my bad experience here:
I called the IHG on June 29 to transfer 170,000 points, and the miles were posted on July 16. No bonus received because the transactions were dated as on July 2 and 3 in my United account activity. I wrote to the United but it refused to give me the bonus b/c the transactions were dated as on July 2 and 3. Called the United today but the first agent had no idea what the offer was and the supervisor never picked up the phone...

Transferred 120K Miles 15 june 18 Still no sign !! -so this promotion was a con when you could never have the miles land in your MileagePlus account before the end of the promotion Given it only ran for 1 month
For a limited time, convert your points into miles and enjoy
a 50% bonus : From June 1-30, earn 3,000 United
MileagePlus® bonus award miles for every 10,000 IHG®
Rewards Club points you exchange – that’s a 50% bonus on
top of what you’d normally earn.
and given the 6 weeks or longer it takes for the miles to transfer from IHG to MileagePlus then this was a total scam!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today marks 6 weeks since I transferred the miles and still nothing in my United account. My IHG account activity shows the transfer was done 6/15.
I called IHG 2 weeks back and they said they transferred the miles and it would take 4-6 weeks. United said they didn't see anything and that it would take 6-8 weeks from the time IHG transferred and not 4-6 weeks. The United CSR also said the bonus miles is based on the time of transfer from IHG, and not the miles posting date.
