Saw it last night/this morning after landing from IAH at 2am. In my half awake state of mind just kind of brushed it off as hm didn’t know UA 787’s flew out of EWR. Didn’t even realize or cross my mind it was the -10.

Looks like MP Exclusives is auctioning off 2 J seats on the inaugural, along with 2 J seats on a return (not necessarily on the 78X), use of the Private Suite at LAX, 2-night stay in NYC, $200 credit at Classified, and $200 ground transportation allowance. Currently at 102K miles. Link is here.

Yikes, 468,000 miles? It's literally possible to buy everything in that package right now for <$10k, even taking the 787-10 back and including a generous allowance for 2 nights in NYC, and that's assuming anyone really values Private Suite at $3500.
Oh well, earn and burn!

So assuming that UA's "Private Suite" offer could be added on to the purchased fare, we're looking at ~$6k, maybe $7k tops in actual purchase price right now for what's included in the auction.

Bassinet Positions?
This thread seems like the closest thing we have to a 78J Wiki/Where to Sit thread, so posting this here in case someone has details.
I'm trying to determine the bassinet positions on this plane for a flight next may EWR-BCN that just got swapped to the 78J. Will have a 5 month old with us so hoping for a bassinet. Phone rep I spoke with today said they don't have the full details yet, but that she and her supervisor are both expecting the bassinet positions to be at row 30.
I'm hesitant about that though since I'm not sure there's a full bulkhead there...worried that they're actually going to be at the premium plus seat locations in row 20, and that the only E+ location may be 44DEF.
I currently have 30EF reserved, but trying to figure out if I need to ask for 44 instead. Anyone have insights?

I'm in the middle of designing up some -10 "pudgy cartoon" inaugural flight buttons as swag to hand out to friends and new acquaintances at the event. Similar to my 747 retirement buttons and tags. If anyone is interested, please let me know in the next week or so....I'd be happy to set some aside!
