Premium Transcontinental (aka p.s.) commemorative tin. Regular eye-shade inside. Dark blue w/ silver top. Tin is about 1 1/4” x 6 x 6.

When will we go to a different packaging? I don't like the tins. too bulky (I threw away all my olympic ones). I have too many and my closet is full. Hoping for a new package soon.

I'm ready too for a different package. I have 15 of the 747 one. I think I got 12 of the Olympic ones. Got many of the ones in between. And I don't even travel that much. But since my wife is usually traveling with me, these things add up fast.

I hope UA comes back with an improved Sak’s amenity kit for both PS and international flights.

They look and feel cheap as compare to the ones offered from AA and DL.

The hard cover DL Tumi kit is the only one I'll carry off the plane these days. Would be nice to see UA return to packaging that's worth taking with.

They can be left onboard or donated (if unused) to a shelter.

I just have a single tin as a keepsake ... don't need 14 more of the same thing.

747 tins on last night's/this morning LAX-LHR. It's just a different container for the stuff. I'll pull two or three useful things out of it and throw everything else away. Not a very convenient container as far as containers go.

I alternate between leaving them on the plane and keeping them to give to other AvGeeks and travel aficionados.

I take the toothbrush and toothpaste, throw out everything else and recycle the tin.

Yes, we do go the donation route.

I had to keep 4 tins since there were 4 different colors of the big tins.

Looks like the 747 kits are starting to run out. I got the old black Saks kit on LHR-LAX yesterday.

New kits are coming. I’m afraid you all won’t like them if you didn’t like the 747 tins. The general shape is the same as the 747 tins but they’re going to a cap at the top as opposed to a split shell. I didn’t look at the contents, though.
