United will continue to serve the region with non-stop service to Seattle (SEA) from Denver, New York/Newark, Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, D.C. and San Francisco.

United, Alaska and Southwest plan on using Paine Field. The new passenger terminal is set to open Sept 2018 and already be at full capacity. Here is the Wiki post about it.

And in the other direction
Appears the two aircraft & crews? are doing RON ( Remain Over Night) @ PAE
With 9:22PM and 11:54PM arrivals and two 6 AM depatures -- the 9:22 PM crew might be legal but not the 11:54PM
So three overnighting crews or some shuffling with SEA?

They're clearly planning to mix planes between DEN and SFO.
DEN0925 - 1130PAE / PAE1210 - 1426SFO
DEN1915 - 2122PAE / PAE0600 - 0948DEN
SFO1100 - 1324PAE / PAE1400 - 1616SFO
SFO1245 - 1507PAE / PAE1545 - 1933DEN
SFO1615 - 1839PAE / PAE1915 - 2131SFO
SFO2130 - 2354PAE / PAE0600 - 0816SFO
One or the other of the PAE0600 flights is likely to be delayed on a semi-regular basis, but I don't think this is automatically a contract violation, depending upon the specific duty cycles.

I can't imagine they'd send somebody in a car every night from PAE to SEA.

If one of the 6:00AM departures is chronically late, this will cause some major pains at PAE. The terminal only has two gates and with 24 departures per day, will have some very high gate utilization.
Alaska's first departure is at 6:30AM with additional departures every 30 minutes for the next two hours, so United will have to have its two flights out.

This seems like the only realistic option.

PAE is close enough to SEA for it to be a co-domicile and OO has a crew base in SEA. This means these flights COULD be crewed by Seattle crews eliminating the need for crew hotels. I would not expect this to happen as SEA crews usually fly only AS and DL flights, but it is a possibility.

Here's the killer....
SEA-SFO is 678 miles
PAE-SFO is 710 miles
PAE-SFO will NOT qualify for 10K award tickets because it's over 700 miles. SEA-SFO still will.

VERY unlikely they will do that. More often than not, Skywest crews have more than minimum rest. For example, the crew that brings the flight in at 13:24 from SFO could layover, showing early the next morning for the first AM departure. The last crew to arrive at night at 23:54 would then take out the 14:00 departure to SFO. This is common practice.

Wasn't able to book UA in/out of PAE for the Boeing Factory Tour/PAE/SEA mini-DO March 22-24, 2019 since service begins after the DO.
Any FTers booked on UA in/out of PAE yet?
