Upgrade confirmation email came through yesterday. I was shocked, actually. (It's after my 40th birthday weekend and I will need the lie-flat seat... )

From the looks of it, a CPU would probably have cleared . . . E+ virtually empty.

Last week for FIA:
LGA-ORD - at booking
ORD-LGA - a week out (I paid the change fee, to move timing and there was R1)
Still 2 left to try and burn but no more domestic travel booked at present.

One I cleared for my wife:
Route: EWR-IAH
Flight Date: 12/6/2018
Plane: 737-900
When applied: 12/5/2018
When cleared: This morning (not sure exactly when)
# of passengers: 1
Booking class: S
Elite Status/Level: 1K
Saw that the plane was 18/20 yesterday evening, so decided to toss an RPU and see where she'd end up on the upgrade list. Came out as being #2 out of 40 and got the last spot this morning.

RPU success on Copa
After a bit of hassle (Copa took 36 hours to ticket a reservation purchased on the Copa website, and then several on the 1k desk did not believe that I needed to be transferred to the Mexico city office) I finally achieved, for 2 RPU's:
Route: SFO-PTY-UIO Return
Flight Date: 2/3/19
Plane: 737-Max/737-800/737-800/737-Max (Note - the 737-Max-9 features lie-flat seats - yay)

So, was waitlisted yesterday (1/14) on LAX-IAH on a 777-200HD with an RPU, connecting to IAH-ATL (E-175) that had previously cleared on booking about a month back. Odds were not looking good (booked 26, then full, morning of departure) and I kept dropping on the wait list.
Saw that an earlier (by 1:30) LAX-IAH flight on a 757-200 (lie-flat) had PZ1 avail, so called in and made same-day change and got upgraded instantaneously. So while it counts as a "success", had I not been checking and switched, my original booking request wouldn't have cleared. I kept checking the old flight on the 777 and saw that I would have been first loser, as 3 ppl ended up clearing, and I was #4 .
