no, the only thing i “probably didn’t know” is that your kids were flying on award tickets because you did not mention they were flying on award tickets..

and, as another poster mentioned, GS can use RPUs on award travel.

The answer to my own question is yes, they will let you use the premier line with a 1K card to check in family members. Don't know what the rule is, but they allowed it.
