PDF route map

It seems like the PDF route map has been removed and all that is available now is a useless interactive map.

Is the PDF map still available someplace through some hidden link?
I assume they still have it in the magazine

Couldn't find the PDFs, but as you mention they are still in the magazine, so you could just grab those pages. The magazine is available online. Pages 112-115. It looks like it will let you download just those pages into a PDF.

December 2016 Edition:

I liked the PDF map because I could instantly see all cities that UA serves. Then I could zoom in and count the lines from a specific city and see how many destinations are served or even follow the lines to see what those destinations are now. I can sort of do that with the interactive map, but I have to know in advance the list of cities that Ua serves

Not sure if this helps, but when I want to quickly find out which cities a particular airline flies to from a particular airport, I go to the Wikipedia page for that airport and scroll down to the "Airlines and Destinations" section, which lists out each airline and the cities to which they fly. All airport wikipedia pages are organized this way.

Route Maps

Did United get rid of the route maps with all the lines on them, from their web site? I don't see that kind of map on their web site anymore...unless I am looking at the wrong place. All I see now are interactive type maps. Thanks.

Yup. Been gone many months now. All they provide is the interactive map now except in the Hemispheres Magazine.

Ugh, this is terrible. The interactive map doesn't suit my needs. Does anyone have a link to a recent PDF?

Thanks.

As mentioned above, at least for me, what I find the most helpful is going to an airports wiki page and looking at "Airlines and Destinations."

Alternatively you can go to google.com/flights and filter an airport by united nonstops only and see that way, but keep in mind some flights aren't everyday/are seasonal.

Forgot about the second option. That sounds like the best for me.

I really don't understand what UA was thinking. How hard is it to have a simple route map available.

Especially when someone has to go through the trouble of creating one for the magazine.

I think the lack of PDF timetable is even more annoying. I don't know if the map is manually created with some guy actually drawing in or removing a line, but I would assume the creation of the timetable was just automatic through software.
