The Fleet Status site is:

https://sites.google.com/site/unitedfleetsite/

At the site, you can find information about the interior features, livery, etc., for every plane in United's fleet.

To determine which plane your flight will be on go to https://www.cablepick.net/united#

Just enter your flight number, date, origin and destination. Once you do that look in the details tab under aircraft # and if they have assigned a plane it'll say something like #3506 and the type of plane. Once you know that go to the United Fleet website listed above and cross-reference the four digit number against the "aircraft" column under the appropriate aircraft type.

Keep in mind that things change as they get closer and sometimes either they won't have assigned an aircraft yet or it'll be assigned #0 if it's a few days away and they are anticipating aircraft movement.

You may also check the specific fleet variant of each flight at the United Cargo site under "Schedules & tracking". This data tends to be reliable starting 7 days in advance, but is always subject to change.

From UnitedAirtime, 772 conversion will be finished by Spring 2017, that's 17/19 to go not counting ship #2476

Q: Why are flights between Honolulu (HNL) and Guam (GUM) considered domestic flights and therefore have no sleeper seats in business class?

A: The Boeing 777 operating on this route are currently undergoing reconfiguration to convert the front cabin seats to the same type of seats currently used on three-cabin aircraft, which include lie-flat seats. This fleet reconfiguration is planned to be complete by spring 2017.

Reportedly, the 77W order has been increased from 14 to 16, with all still scheduled to arrive by mid-2017.

EWR-SFO will probably have a 777 for the long term, in an international configuration. They may pull it off from time to time for the winter, but I have noticed more 777s in the schedule than I believe were originally announced.

EWR-DEN also gets a HD 777 turn this winter. Pretty sweet since this route is mostly 737/Airbus territory, aside from 1-2 752s daily.

The last airline to regularly fly a 777 (or any WB) on EWR-DEN was pre-merger UA in the late 90s as part of a DEN-EWR-LHR rotation.

I was under the impression that this was a blended route, including clearing Immigration and Customs at different airports (if coming in to GUM for example from MNL).

Except for the rather brief period when .bomb had a hickup you would need a GPU to u/g. RPU doesn't cut it like IAH-HNL.

Yes, Guam has their own customs on top of US immigration.

I fly EWR-DEN regularly and these planes are always full with plenty of people on standby. Smart move to increase capacity.

My experiences on the DEN-IAD flights are very similar (almost always oversold 739s). It would be great to see a 772 back on this route to help boost capacity. I don't recall what year the 772 between DEN and IAD ended but it would sure be nice to have it back

777-300 comes somewhat close to 747, not sure why need to replace 777, assume -200.

United had elected to go with thinner-longer routes and increased frequency so capacity of a single equipment shouldn't be a issue.

UA had a 767 off and on at the ORD-DEN route nice to see that EWR-DEN will get a nice ride. I remember when CO would have a 767-400 between IAH-EWR
