Farewell to JST-AOO
The JST-AOO flight, famously United Express's shortest sector, is no longer on the schedule.

Did this happen when UA discontinued IAD-AOO on 30 September? Or some other time?

Looks like they do still provide JST-DUJ.

Used to enjoy this little hop quite a bit when visiting family around there! Somehow there was always intense weather in the area which made everything that much more exciting. ^

The only current commercial flight from AOO is AOO-PIT.

More famous would be the flight between Westray (WRY) and Papa Westray (PPW) in the Scottish Orkney Islands. About two minutes. It would be an easy swim if the water wasn't so cold.

Was it operated by Silver? They gave up a few EAS routes into IAD earlier this year.

Yes, that's right. I read that service ended September 30, but don't know if that's accurate.
