Another United Club enhancement? No cheese?

At SFO UC in terminal 3 they have no cheese. Is this the latest club 'enhancement'?

Perhaps they are making room for the turkey dinners they will be serving on Thanksgiving.

Went to the SFO domestic UA Club after the AMEX club closed at 11:00 PM, and UA doesn't even have water out.

This club was already ghetto compared to the AMEX club, even if fully stocked with the usual amenities...

I had cheese in EWR on Nov. 24, but noticed the slice is thinner in size. The old club was very hot because they were saving the warmth for the approaching cold weather.

A sample size of n=1 seems small to even question whether your observation is generalizable to all UA clubs.

Maybe they just ran out?

This thread is great. But the "full service" club was open. You need to thank UA for that. Everyone needs some water (and stiff booze) after eating some dried up turkey at the in-laws house, bad conversation and smelly Grandpa.

No water available? Call 911 or the Health Dept.

Just board your flt enjoy and the luxury of flying UA will continue. The finest food, Spirits and service at 30,000 feet.

This club was already ghetto compared to the AMEX club.
But is was OPEN! You may die of thirst, but you are a member of a very elite club.

Were they preparing the Traditional Thanksgiving Spread for Thurs as they always do for VIP's?

Happy T-Day!

Presuming you mean the UC near gate 80 (not the temporary one along towards the 60 gates) there is normally at least one iced water container at the far end of the bar.

Failing that, it's one of the few UC's that actually has a Coke post-mix machine, which also has a water option on it.

Thank god. Water is available at the UC! Is it from the SFO bay, so it is drinkable? How about the booze and cheese?

It's FT...all you need is a sample size of 1 to make it the new standard!

I would think that cutting down on the portion of the cheese size would just encourage the taking of more cheese to make up for the smaller size. Don't think this would save UA any money and in the long run perhaps cost them more.
