UA/LH fare code mapping

UA/LH fare code mapping
From Mileage Plus earning chart, MP members do not earn miles from L or T fare on LH-operated flights which are "within Europe only".
Questions:
1. If the LH intra-Europe segments are part of trans-Atlantic ticket issued by UA on 016 stock, does MP member still earn no miles on L or T booking code?
2. If the LH intra-Europe segments have UA codeshare flight numbers and are operated by LH, same rule applies?
3. Are L/T fare codes on LH normally mapped to UA as L/T?

Earning is always based on operating carrier (in this case LH) fare class and accrual rules. The UA fare classes will map straight across to LH.

PremPlus (UA) / PremEcon (LH)
UA is O - A - R converts to G-E-N for LH
UA does not use G or N for TATL fares, K is the lowest. Not sure about E but would guess it is not used either by UA for TATL (I will be corrected if wrong
)

I’m looking at a TATL LH N fare that puts the US dom segment into either LHxxxxY or UAxxxQ. Any reason why, as a 1K, I might not want to book it as the LH Y segment, which I assume then provides potential instant PN UPG space?

maps exactly 1:1. The only exception are prem eco fare classes (see post 4)
