Earning is always based on operating carrier (in this case LH) fare class and accrual rules. The UA fare classes will map straight across to LH.

Good luck getting advance seat assignments on the LH operated codeshares. No Lufthansa Advance Economy Seat Selection on United Ticket Stock.
