Spotted today: UA cabin crew playing piano for tips at ORD C-17?
I saw something different today while on the C concourse at ORD. Near C-17 there is a bar with a piano. I've sometimes seen what I assumed was a professional musician playing this piano. At other times I saw the piano playing itself, in automated mode.
But today, I saw a gentleman dressed in UA steward's crew uniform playing the piano. And I think I saw a bowl with some cash on the piano, although I didn't stop to examine the scene that closely.
Has anyone else seen UA crew playing piano at ORD? Is this new? What do FTers think of such a display of talent?

I didn't mean to mislead, nor inflame. I've adjusted the title accordingly.

I'm willing to give the employee the benefit of the doubt on this one. If there was a tip bowl, maybe that was meant for an employee welfare fund or to help other employees in crisis. I know there's been an FT event in the past that benefits a fund for UA employees in need.
