I'm a Gold 1MM, and I've flown UA exactly ONCE this year. My promo is for double PQMs and double award miles:

3. Ticketing dates: June 16, 2014 – August 31, 2014.
4. Complete travel between: July 1, 2014 – August 31, 2014.
5. Offer is valid on paid roundtrips booked in F, A, J, C, D, Z, P, Y, B, M, and E fare classes

I just got the double miles offer but only for fare classes F, A, J, C and D. Wierd

Same here, I've seen these threads pop up several times so far this year and I've never once received a targeted promotion from UA. I do however keep getting promo emails from DL.

I guess they see that I purchase those fare classes (P and Z mostly) last minute so they don't see me as someone who they need to spur to purchase then.

Slightly OT, but did anyone get the offer the past few days for 40% off buying miles? In April they offered 30% off, in February they offered me 20% off.

This hasn't happened in the last decade+ / I didn't even bother checking whether I was eligible for this promo. Even on the off chance that by some nightmare I ended up booking a UA flight anytime in the near future.
