Does applying ETC delay payment processing?

I used a $300 ETC on a pretty simple reservation today (one-way, all UA/UX metal). It covered around one-third of the total, and I put the rest on my usual credit card.

The payment is still processing 4 hours after I pressed the purchase button.

I've waited 24+ hours for code share reservations to ticket, but I wonder whether the ETC might delay payment processing?

Anyone experience delays, or other surprises, when paying with an ETC through SHARES?

I had a problem once and the only way I resolved it was to rebook and file a credit card dispute for a double charge (since they took the funds from the ETC and the second payment). In that case, I attributed it to the fact that it was the second ticket I booked with that ETC and I may not have given the system enough time betwen bookings. I wouldn't be surprised if there were other issues lurking inside the payment processing system.

I was also facing this problem, but I had gone through your post and I get the solution. It was really nice for sharing such a nice information regarding the topic.
