Platinum for the first time ever - I have never been more than silver. Completed 3/11 on my last of 10 LAX-SJU MRs
YTD Premier qualifying miles: 77,488
YTD Premier qualifying dollars: $1,700
Credit card spend PQD waiver: Met
Personal note:all tickets were bought last April, well before UA made any program changes. In the past, the 3 people in my family have been silver, but I realized it would be better for one of us to be platinum even if the others were nothing. Did math in advance and the RDMs, free baggage, E+ for my family, and ability to make free changes to award travel over the next 2 years was worth it to me.

Passed 25,000 EQM 3/6 on UA893 (SFO-ICN)
Passed EQD on 3/13 on UA78 (NRT-EWR)
Interestingly, qualified for Silver on the same flight and the same aircraft (N77022) as last year.

Passed 75K on EWR-AMS. I was sitting at 72K pretty much as soon as I got Gold - those TPAC trips rack up miles quick.

Just crossed 50,000 for the year on my FRA/SFO return yesterday, and hit the $10,000 requirement for 1K. Looks like I will have 100,000 miles and 1K re-qual by late April or early May ... the earliest ever for me, in 30 years of flying. Not sure that's a good thing ... :-/
This may be the first year I have a legitimate shot at being considered for GS, although being SFO-based, I'm not sure I will have enough direct UA spend (since several of my trans-Pac trips in paid F or J have been on SQ).

My gut feel is you have to be above 30 cents a mile if you fly coach.
