While you are correct that nothing changed last night, the presentation of the fee waivers changed materially. There is no longer an expiration date on the Premier benefits. Instead, United can simply announce a new fee structure (hyperlinks) at any time "for tickets issued on or after xxxx". So the specific fee waivers no longer correspond the the MP program year. I think that could be significant down the road.

That does not alter MP member "rights" in the least. UA has reserved to itself the right change anything in the MP program anytime it wants to.
