OMG! This is one thing I hate about Skymiles and now UA is doing it... At least it is $75 and $100, not $150.
It is a huge thing as this really takes a big chunk of the value of MileagePlus/frequent flyer programs in general...

Mileage Plus is unfortunately no longer best in class - and UA is trying to emulate DL in many areas (but without the leading OT rates, soft product improvements, design aesthetic, etc.)
