And why is this a problem? I don't know anyone who doesn't like a big banana.

I am flying way too much and reading flyertalk way too much because after reading this thread yesterday I had a nightmare about running around a United Club looking for chocolate covered pretzels.

I've actually been impressed with how often they're changing out the variety of the food offerings lately. I like the new snack mix (the ones with the corn nuts) better than the goldfish knockoffs, and I was happy they went back with donut holes for the breakfast snacks when I was at ORD last week.

Yup, saw the same...

There was an attractive late teen with her family in the SEA club who had just come back to her table with a whole cupful of the chocolate covered pretzels. Her parents then started into lecturing her about eating healthy as her father had just brought her an apple and some carrots. Heh... I was laughing as she certainly did not have a problem with her weight and I am sure her parents were concerned she be able to keep her good figure, hah.

They shortly left... she carried out the cup of pretzels while the apple and carrots were left untouched on the table :P

I think it depends on location and time of day. On a couple of occasions I've gently asked for specific goodies that were not out and staff went into a backroom and grabbed me some. (I admit, it was the shortbread cookies on both occasions)
