UA1639 Slides off runway at CLE
Inbound flight from FLL slides off the runway into the grass at CLE. UA.com still shows it arrived at the gate 17 mins early. So I wonder if this correct flight number.

The Out, Off, On, and In times are reported automatically by the aircraft when certain conditions are met.

Actually, out of curiosity, I wonder if it's easier to drive a plane on a runway in bad weather than a car. The problem with cars is that the wheels are also producing the force to move the car. Here, turning could be accomplished at least partially with differential thrust alone, no?
Maybe a pilot can enlighten me

eliminating the power from the wheels does eliminate one hazard, but the tires still need traction to cause 100,000+lbs of aircraft to change directions.
either way, they incident report will read "pilot error".
