People, Neo-UA just doesn't care about making its customers happy. Is this not obvious by now? Anything to make or save a dollar today is what counts; forget tomorrow. The best of UA and the best of CO is on its way out the door.

This move is idiotic. Period. :

At this point, I'll put my 900k lifetime miles on ice and stay over here on the dAArkside until the pendulum swings back to the side of sanity over at UAWHQ.

It's a shame what has happened to this airline.

CO OnePass was not called NonePass for nothing
I think CO pioneered what was adopted by DL and others by gutting the FF program.

I still have Seth's addon in my chrome that still seems to work for now.
EF still show sinventory
It is not clear if EF will be affected as it pays UA for the access and not screen scraper.
So I wonder if KVS will be affected.

Does 1K Voice still exist? They don't respond anymore.

All of the above. Wow. Just, wow.

United, in the words of the philosopher Cee Lo Green, I pity the fool who falls in love with you. If there were a DSM-IV for airlines, present-day UA would take up half of it.

Seriously, what "enhancement" will you offer next? Ankle-deep brackish ice water in the Y cabin?

SAD.

They are no longer interested in the air transport/ service business. As the mighty CEO has stated- it's all about the ancillary revenue.

Nice job on ruining 2 airlines in less than a year. I moved 50% of my business away, and it will soon be 100%.

It will die this weekend when the changes are deployed. Wish it weren't so, but nothing I can do to conjure up data which is being hidden.

I expect that both will stop showing the information this weekend based on how I understand them to be sourcing the data.

When UA Insider explicitly cites screen scraping as one of the reasons for this change that raises a number of concerns for me. And I say that as someone who scrapes a reasonably large amount of data from a variety of sites.

Wow. As If I needed another reason to hate the new United. Glad I have already moved most of my business to Delta; now I'll just move the remainder to AA.

Which other airline's website supports this "expert mode"?

It's not just the inability to see this info on UA's website but also a blackout of this info on third-party services. We're flying blind now.

A nail in the coffin. Used this on every booking. Without it, price will champion the decision making. United - did you really think this through?? (and after 1.2M BIS miles, this makes me nauseous) Time to flirt with AA and DL!

Thumbs down Shannon

While I thank you for the information, unfortunately I am forced to shoot the messenger. Just when I thought UA had exhausted all of the foolish moves it could make, I have been proven wrong. This decision and the pathetic, nonsensical rational for it just proves that you have learned nothing from your previous poor decisions. As a 10+ year 1K and just reached 2 MM flyer, you have seen the last of me and the other 1K's I supervise. RIP

Note also this "announcement" is made late on a Friday afternoon, after the execs have bailed for the weekend. United knows exactly what they are doing and who they are doing it to, and quite frankly, they don't give a damn. I am quite honestly dismayed how anyone can still enjoy doing business with this company.
