Granted, they could still pull out, but for now the schedule says otherwise. Usually, when they've made up their minds to leave, you'll see the flights discontinued as of the date they're leaving.

You know, mentioning the city along with the letter codes at least once in a post really helps those of us who don't have the entire world of airport codes memorized.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I wish it would close to all commercial ops. ATW and GRB fight for traffic to each of their detriment. They both already (but ATW especially) spill most of their low yield traffic to MKE. If it were just GRB, no doubt there would be even more spill to MKE, but the remaining consolidated traffic would be larger and higher yielding than either station can offer today. It would make some set of DEN, DFW/IAH, and (my dream) EWR viable.
This is obviously pure upside for folks in GRB or anyone to the north. The 20-25min extra drive would be worth the extra nonstops for folks in the Fox Valley. And anyone further south (e.g., Oshkosh) is already mostly flying out of MKE.

ATW (Appleton, WI) is where Air Wisconsin is based. The flights into ATW on UX aren't timed very good. The 6 am flight is decent, but the last flight in gets in around 8:30, often times not late enough to connect. And holy cow is it expensive. When searing between ATW, GRB, MSN, or MKE; ATW was always the most expensive, sometimes 3-4x more than the rest.
I wouldn't be surprised if they were pulling out, the flights were fairly empty, GRB has better times and better prices. MKE isn't that far of a drive and has better prices yet, and most people if they're driving that far ORD isn't out of the question.

Yes, that would be helpful. However, for those that don't have them memorized....bookmark

Correct, United is transitioning several stations across the country to new agent companies. Interestly enough, they are hiring Delta employees for a lot of their flights. Regional Elite (Delta subsidary) and Delta Global Services will be taking over a lot of United Stations. American Eagle will take over several more. Air Wisconsin lost a lot of stations in the process. I believe they lost GRB, ATW, and MSN. Not sure if there were more. It was my understanding that those companies will be able to do the same work with less people.
