Missing window on a 739 E+

Has anybody flown on a Boeing 737-900 or 900ER that has E+ and know if 10A is a missing window?

Thanks!

Seatguru shows that the 739 (legacy CO) is only missing a window at Row 8. No firsthand experience for you, though.

I haven't been in coach on a 739 in a while, but I think it is row 8 that is missing the window.

I have a vague memory of flying a CO 738 or 739 about a year ago, somewhere in the row 7 through 10 range, and finding that seatguru had not reported a window missing on the left-hand side. Unfortunately, that's the seat I had reserved.

I also think that I found, after the flight, that the missing window was shown on an alternative seating configuration for the same plane. I remember filing a report to seatguru, but I don't believe that (since their takeover by Trip Advisor) they take any notice of passenger submissions any more. So caveat emptor, seatguru may not be a good authority here.

In the "good old days" of hard copy timetables, some of the better airlines would actually show the window locations on their seating charts (LH and SR come to mind). A very simple, cheap, and easy thing to do -- and very valuable to those of us who value a window seat, not just a fuselage seat -- but obviously beyond any notions of customer service these days.

I always value the window seat. I remember when CO renumbered their rows a Summer of 2010, and I changed my seat to 11A on a 738 to make sure that I would have a row that existed and have a window. It was a confusing time as I try to stay up to date with rows that don't have windows via seat guru-well long story short, I find my seat 11A and there is no window! I was very unhappy! I love the window! Oh well!

Thanks for your help everybody!

who knows, but the next time I'm on a 739 I will be sure to see what row has a missing/mis-aligned window.

The missing window is a problem on most 737s, and is one of several reasons why I prefer the A320 series.

Thanks...Just to let you know the aircraft are subject change as if you go to the site in my signature you will notice that some aircraft don't have E+ yet.
