I've been through refund hell with UA over the last month.

Within 24 hours of my ticket purchase for tickets for Mr. eerickso and me, there was a dramatic price decrease so I cancelled the original tickets and repurchased.

It has taken a full month to get the account properly credited. Sleazy way to operate a company, IMNSHO. I'm gradually moving my business elsewhere wherever/whenever I can.

From experience yes it may take over 1 week to get the refund. I have in the past done a few of those buy a ticket to get through security then cancel
within a few hours and my card was not even charged.
