I just looked at the sticker on my 2011 card, and it does in fact say "Expires March 2, 2012" so you may be right. Needless to say, I'd be OK with that.
Does anyone else know if the mileage switchover date was 2/29 or 3/2, and if you had a flight on 3/1 or 3/2, did it show up correctly with your bonus status from Jan & Feb?

All my 2012 flights (all pre-3/3 since I'm avoiding UA travel for 2 months) have disappeared from "Most Recent Account Activity". Jumps right over all my January and February travel:
