Award ticket help & rules?
I dont fly Star Alliance at all so looking for some help to get an award ticket in J class issued for my Dad using his United Miles. The route would be DEL-SFO-AUS-BOS-DEL in August, 2012. Can one do a multicity using the same mileage amount - not sure about the stopover rules? I could not find any existing threads for this kind of a routing and to be honest got lazy looking around 
. What would be some of the preferred carriers for this route where I could find decent award availability? I looked through UA and ANA website but could not find anything for the DEL-SFO leg in the first 2 weeks of August. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
