Proposal:Use miles for E+
I expect to get flamed for this suggestion, but why not offer the option to upgrade to an E+ seat for just miles? UA is happy to offer me $500 + 20k miles to sit up front on an trans-atlantic flight, why not E+ too?
I say this as a previously loyal CO flyer with quite a few miles in the "bank" who has gone from Gold to Silver to nothing in the past few years due to reduced biz travel. I might make it back to Silver shortly due to a new job, but not very enthusiastic about it due to the E+ changes. Hence the question/proposal.
