UA278 Apr25. TOD offer $349 from my S fare. Re-checked a few times to see if the offer changed, but it never did. Passed, spent the afternoon, night and morning as #1 on the list and cleared before boarding.

As usual, i was offered to upgrade for $69 BWI-DEN tomorrow on V class ticket and I took the offer. There was F3 when I checked in.

I kind of miss the days when some loyalists swore that TODs didn't exist, they're just too easy and obvious to diagnose these days... |

Premier Gold S class - paid $245 RT When I checked in at T-24 First class was already showing full, but sometime the night before, at around T-10 I'd guess, someone must have switched flights or canceled, because the mobile app was offering $129 upgrade with 1 seat remaining. It also helpfully informed me that there were 71 people eligible for an upgrade. I decided to take it as I wasn't feeling that well but needed to make the trip. On the return essentially the same thing happened (though only 40 people on the list this time), and I once again took it, as my chance of clearing as a Premier Gold were nil and I felt like treating myself. So, with the two TODs, my total fare for RT in First ORD-LGA was $503. |
