I'm in SFO, on an MR from snowy, miserable, YYC to IST and BLQ and back in only a couple days. Should be interesting, especially the 13.5 hr flight on TK from LAX-IST. In Y.
I haven't been in this box for a day or so, so I'll give you a welcome as well and great work having flight memory already.

Then I will have the excuse of the Waffle House being across the street from my hotel in Louisville.

A sound plan. :-:

I've been bad this weekend and now it's time to get back on the horse bike.

This is indeed a great idea (1000 calories per day while not traveling).

Its so hard to lose weight. I have gained my winter weight.
My doctor is going to yell at me next month.

I will do my best to work off some weight. But, it just gets harder and harder.

That is what happens when you get ld. I put on about 20 pounds from ages 32 to 37. Fortunately, things have been stable since.

I have tried and failed to think of something that doesn't go well with waffles. Caviar goes with pancakes so clearly it can go with waffles. Pastrami, maybe?

I am looking forward to a US 734 and its 30" pitch tomorrow. :-:

I was just reading last night that the Taco Bell Nachos Bell Grande has 1,320 calories.

Eat three quarters of one of those a day and that takes care of your food needs. Boom!

My not horribly expensive Sauvignon Blanc went quite well with the waffles. I'm also willing to bet something could be done with pastrami... a waffle pastrami Reuben? I think that would work. :-:

Well, if french toast + turkey = monte cristo, then waffle + pastrami is probably something comparable!^ I'm having wine - waffle!

All of this talk of wine and waffles has made me crave a beer for some reason.

I think you're right, though I'm less certain about the sauerkraut.

I would have said brussels sprouts, but the best brussels sprouts I've had were sauteed with bacon, which obviously goes well with waffles.

Now I'm stumped.
