11/20 DEN-IAD-FCO, then cruising down to spend Thanksgiving at the Great Pyramids of Giza. Celebrating visiting my 7th continent and +/- 80ish countries.

Still awaiting SWU clearance, but not looking good at this point Much better odds on return FCO-IAD. IAD-DEN cleared.

I'll look forward to my favorite mashed potato and gravy when I return!

Good plan. The only other time I VDB'd myself, I wasn't given my new flight details until after the GA had boarded the plane and closed the gate. I'll make sure I know ahead of time so I don't spend my holiday in the airport for $400...@:-)

Don't eat too much or you'll be buying the seat next to you on the way back
My ps flight is waitlisted as I am using miles since no UDU. The others flights are regular domestic flights thus UDU and as a 1P I won't hit until the middle of next week. Fingers crossed that it all works out. ^^

I'll be flying from NRT to SFO to LAS, all on Thanksgiving day. Should be an interesting transition from Tokyo to the Bellagio in Vegas.

NRT to SFO is a C award, glad to be confirmed in business, and expecting SFO to be dead on Thanksgiving day. Hopefully. Flying Virgin to LAS in F.

29 Nov: MUC-IAD-MSY

Hoping for UDU on the domestic segs. Upgrading my lounge experience from RCC to LH Sen in IAD if there's time.

My favorites: cornbread dressing and pumpkin pie.

A MR/short vacation to fall only to 2P instead of nothing after a year of very little travel. Hoping to get back to 1P early next year.

DEN-SFO-HKG on Thanksgiving day, coming back the next week. Whether my upgrade clears will be the litmus test for staying 1K. The period around Thanksgiving is usually easy for clearing upgrades -- I've flown transpacs with open seats in C many times -- but that was the old C. At least judging from other posts on this thread, I won't be competing with any of you.

Garden State

11/23 LAX - EWR on CO in Y. Thankful for 1P access to the exit row, DIRECTV, and looking forward to trying the new BOB Cheeseburger!

11/28 EWR-ORD-LAX on UA in F. I'll be thankful if I make my 43 minute connection!

Can't wait to eat thanksgiving dinner with some Italian-American additions!

Does anyone know if UA serves special meals in F on Thanksgiving Day?
