I don't think so. I just tried and got the same "internal error" message as before.

Try A.net. The CO/UA Fleet thread tracks the E+ mods.

Yep, just tried to save a known 319 update...and you're right. Lame that it's not been functional for so long.

I'd rather stick with a.net or CO's website. That site looks to be someone's hobby using their business site (see the main link) though it was a lot of work!

I was just able to edit the A319 entry (only did the remaining six grey a/c's).

According to a.net fleet upgrades 0736 has been repainted with united as it left HKG earlier this week.

Great Idea! I will start a new thread for us to track the Continental E+ Conversions.

Status of N641UA and N642UA

Does anyone have any information about the status of these two frames? As per flightaware N641UA had its last flight in late December whereas N642UA hasn't been flying for over 3 months now.
Are they parked somewhere?

I believe N641UA is in TPA:
http://flightaware.com/live/flight/U...030Z/KIAD/KTPA

N642UA flew GVA-TPA:

Then I believe it went to AMA, then to LAX. From what I can tell, it's still at LAX.

how to lookup newer plane?

Is there a way to research if the flight you are riding is a newer plane before booking the flight? I wan't able to find this in the forum search earlier.

There is no way to tell if you are on a newer plane until about 3 days prior to departure, check the flight status of your flight on united.com and it will tell you aircraft #. The newest aircraft is a 739ER #3452 which was recently delivered.

Also, it depends what you mean by "newer" - if you're talking about the recently deployed 737-900s, see above.

Based on the airframe type, you can get a sense of the average age of the fleet on airfleets.net.

Seeing that a number of the pmUA 737-500s are being moved from VCV to TUP for scrap. So I'd say likelihood of those coming back is pretty much zero :)
