Curious. How many actual (BIS) miles did you do on UA last year.

I'm curious if you ever fly coach? (i'm about 50/50)

What's your favorite plane and seat? (mine is Global First on the 747 row 2)

Favorite Lounge? (I usually don't spend time in them as I get to airport as late as possible)

thanks!

1) about 50 coach flights a year because of regional jets not offering first. 2) Favorite seat would be 1K on a 3 class 767 with 2nd choice 1A on a 747. 3) Hands down my favorite lounge is ORD Global lounge. The entire staff is like family. love hanging with my friends there. My second favorite used to be the LAX International First Class lounge. I miss it and the staff there terribly! Third pick London Global, fourth Sydney (sentimental and Annie) fifth San Fransisco and sixth Dulles International First.

Was sitting in that seat a few days ago on IAD-GRU. Have to agree with you when traveling by myself. Not when the wife is along. :-)

I feel the same way! And I agree with your lounge favorites as well. I do have a soft spot for the JFK GFL folks as they are like family to me.

My bad! Forgot about the great people at JFK! As of now I put them just slightly being the new global lounge in London.

Yes, I think my son's been in both and is definitely a fan. I, on the other hand, can give all sorts of advice on seats in Y.

(The things we do for our kids, right? He gets an award ticket, which can sometimes be a similar price for saver F as standard Y, so he gets to sometimes sit up front. I have to fly on a paid ticket to requalify for Plat).

Great meeting you at the Narita GFL today!

What a nice surprise to meet you in person today after reading so much about you over the years. Thanks for the good conversation and, yes, Ho Chi Minh and Siem Reap (even if you have to cheat and fly ANA from NRT) are great vacation destinations for some future vacation with your wife!

Congrats on 16MM and I hope we cross paths again!

Travel safe Tom - great flying with you today - now in my apartment ready to crash - don't know how you do it! By the way - send me one of those pictures from the flight!

Do you only fly OALs when UA has no service there? When on OAL, do you do your best to stick to *A and/or MP partners?

Do you go out of your way to connect on UA versus direct on OAL?
