I LOVE black pudding! Why is it you get TEN eggs, TEN sausages, TEN bacon, TEN toast...but only FIVE black pudding???

That settles it - I won't be darkening the door of this place anytime soon!

Not enough beans or mushrooms for my liking!
Would swap the eggs for more mushrooms or DH would prefer scrambled instead!

Black pudding is great for getting ones system working well after being in transit for 28 hrs, which often happens to me. Just for reference Aldi do a great one with barley in it.The first thing I usually do when getting into Didsbury from Asia, it grab the wok, 4 or 5 slices of real bacon from the butcher, not that wafer rubbish you buy in supermarkets. A couple of homemade apple and pork sausages, several slices of black pudding. Pot of tea on the brew. Then when this is cooked chuck a tin of Italian plumb tomato's in there with it and pour the lot onto a big plate. Consume with lashings of HP brwon sauce and white pepper. Washed down with a brew of PG tips and wipe the plate clean with a 10 mm slice of localy baked bread.

That's not breakfast, that's a heart attack on a plate! Don't you just love our contribution to world cuisine? No place like home.

Anyone remember this parody http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...36284090988855
