Do I have a problem?
I followed someone's thread and bid using Priceline $81 US for a 4star hotel - I wound up with the Millenium Mayfair - Does anyone know if this comes with a buffet breakfast or do we have to swing for their $25/pp "full English"? Also, my walking stamina is limited - I was hoping to walk around and see local shops - Do I have a problem?

This is a very nice hotel and worth your 81 plus tax bid.
It is very nicely located, near New Bond Street, Oxford Street and lots of shops. I would suggest if you are not a big walker that you get a cab to knightsbridge or to the other end of oxford street (marble arch) and try shopping down there and then tube it back to the hotel. If I remember correctly, it wasn't that long of a walk to a tube stop and there may be a bus even closer. Its pretty close to the grosvenor gardens Marriott too.
As for breakfast, I never pay very much for mine. I guess 25 dollars for breakfast in a nice hotel isn't very much. I usually head to my local coffee republic for a quite bite.
I know letiole stayed here recently and my three day stay in Dec 2001 was very pleasant.

Sounds like you got a great deal! (I stayed for $80 at the Mayfair Inter-Continental back in March.) I don't have an answer for you, but advice is to skip the breakfast there. Seems to me at many hotels of that level it's not typically included in most rates. And there will be many places around the corner where you can get something for much less.

I don't think you have a problem at all.
Sounds like you got a good deal. I was very pleased with this hotel.
As for breakfast, when I'm in Europe for anything shorter than a week, I don't try to adjust to the time change so I'm never up in time for breakfast. They certainly don't force you to purchase the breakfast if that's what you're asking.
I walked all over from there, but agree with lalala that if you're not up to it you should take a cab to the locations she suggests.

From Grosvenor Square you are about 5 minutes walk from each of Oxford Street and New Bond Street. Around and about the hotel there are literally hundreds of sandwich shops, cafes and restaurants that will do you a really good breakfast for a fraction of the price the hotel will charge. You will find lots on and just off Oxford Street and New Bond Street, and also west of New Bond Street in the corner formed by Oxford Street and Regent Street. Also, if you go south down South Audley Street (away from Oxford Street) there's another clump of nice shops interspersed with cafes and restaurants. Where you are going to be, it would be crazy to pay USD25 for a hotel breakfast if you don't have to.

Thanks Everyone.
I appreciate the suggestions and reassurance.
The pics on the net make the Mayfair look like it's isolated.
Our first 2 nites are here, hopefully we will be adjusted to the time by then.
