Cheap Rail Tickets in UK
Does anybody know how to get the really cheap rail tickets in the UK.
That is The tickets that airlines sometimes sell to pax only from the airport into London. Sometimes they are at a very very good rate comapred to just booking when you get there, sometimes it is just a so so sort of rate.
I am looking for a very cheap deal on Stansted to London Liverpool Street.

Unfortunately that is the problem.
I am already in the UK and wish to travel from Stansted to London on a regular - but not that regular that a season ticket becomes a worthwhile proposition.
The normal round trip fare is c£23 Return
Off peak (which I cant use) is about £16
Season Ticket works out about £12 per day.

i don't think cheap tix are available on the Stanstead route.
www.thetrainline.com sells just about every ticket you can buy on the UK train network including the cheap apex tickets.
The only things they don'd cover are sometimes the big train companies have a special on (e.g. gner often has east coast mainline for under £30 - or at least used to)
