Manicures near Covent Garden?

Can anyone recommend a reasonably-priced spot for a decent manicure in Central London, preferably near Covent Garden? (I went to one salon near there a couple of years ago, but they didn't do a very good job.)

Sanctuary Spa. Missus doesn't rate it (very bridge and tunnel ihho), but if proximity to Covent Garden is critical it might be worth a look.

IIRC a NYC expression. Relates to people from suburbia who would have to travel through a tunnel or on a bridge to reach 'civilisation'. Needless to say it is a bit perjorative.

Also used in London is ROC. As in, something is very Rest Of Country.

It IS a NYC expression, but I've always understood it to refer to the outer boroughs as well as suburbia.
What would the Missus recommend if proximity to Covent Garden were not required?
I'm not looking for a lot of frills (I usually use a very inexpensive place around the corner where they do a good job that lasts a good 7 or 8 days).

I'll ask her tonight for any recommendations.

She wasn't much help. The only idea in Central London was this place

http://www.thenaillounge.com/aboutus.html

..which I think may be a bit too la-la.

Thanks in any case. I did an Internet search and think I've found something a bit simpler.

You could try Ahava in Covent Garden, which uses Dead Sea products. See this for a third-party discussion of their facial, and here for a PDF file describing all the treatments they offer, from their own website.

I use the student salon at the London School of Beauty, just north of Oxford Circus and steps from Regent Street.

Knock-down prices, all treatments supervised by tutors and decent work done over the last three or four years - I've been very happy with manicures, pedicures and a bit of eyelash tinting as well

For the "Mr." instead of the "Missus", there's a Nickel Spa location just up the street from the Covent Garden tube station.
