It IS a NYC expression, but I've always understood it to refer to the outer boroughs as well as suburbia.
What would the Missus recommend if proximity to Covent Garden were not required?
I'm not looking for a lot of frills (I usually use a very inexpensive place around the corner where they do a good job that lasts a good 7 or 8 days).
