Cannot convert Bonus Miles to Status Miles
Hello!
I am a Miles&Smiles program member holding a Miles&Smiles credit card from a Turkish bank for a couple of months. I am trying to convert the bonus miles I accumulated with my credit card spendings to status miles with a 20% ratio as stated in the conversion rules. I keep getting an error when I submit the request, stating that only miles earned with a Miles&Smiles credit card can be converted to status miles. I can display the number of miles eligible for conversion though. Has anyone else recently attempted to convert their bonus miles to status miles and got a similar error message? Despite contacting them several times, Turkish Airlines seems to be reluctant to take any action to solve my issue, as I have not heard back from them for a long time. I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue and whether the issue is affecting everyone or not.

I don't hold a Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles credit card but most of my friends and relatives who have converted bonus miles to status miles were able to do so via the TK website without issues. The most recent experience that I heard was a successful one from a friend that has converted 100000 bonus miles into 20000 status miles just 2 weeks ago.
