WI-FI - reliable, relatively fast and YES - for free for C-class passengers

I do not see any discussions about WI-FI offered by TK on selected B77W aircraft.

Really? No Flyertalkers are using it?

So - let me summarize:

- it is available on selected B77W (most likely including all birds with 49 C config, but at least some with 28C config are also upgraded)

- YES - it is available for free to all C-class passengers (at least all paid passengers) - login is required (name and seat number). Just to compare - AA charges USD 19.00 per flight (these in F/C also pay)

- YES - it is reliable and relatively fast (but not available when aircraft is overflying China)

- If your aircraft has WI-FI there is a sticker on the bulkhead wall

- All upgraded aircraft apparently also have Live TV, but I never used this feature so cannot comment

Well done TK!

It's also available on the newest A330-300. I've been on such a bird this week.

I wasn't lucky enough, then... Thank you for letting us know...

Slightly OT - There is an excellent TR about new EY First (link: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trip-......-world.html). Apparently EY charges for WI-FI even in F.

I use it on regular basis (A330) and it works reasonable good.
It's free (business class) and the speed was good enough for streaming content.

I think, if memory is correct, $15 but limited usage over Chinese airspace.

It's available for award passengers too. Flew IST-LAX a few weeks ago and used it, though it didn't occur to me that I could use it until 30 min outside of LAX.
