Urumqi (URC) is in Uyghur Turks' area which China wouldn't let Turkish carrier near to there.

Besides China don't give extra flight rights to Turkey, in which Turkish airlines' first priority would be increasing current flights and open new destinations to other metropolitan cities in China.

Hope Turkish governm can get some rights soon !

The government of Turkey said on Friday that Turkish Airlines would commence scheduled flights into the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja and the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu in March 2015.

So Taipei is announced. What happened to Manila? Did they grant the rights? I would recommend TK to start services to Yangon, Phnom Penh and Vientaine.

The Turkish and the Philippine governments agreed to sign a landmark air services agreement at 17th of November, 2014.

Turkish Airlines Adds Nonstop Cape Town Service in NW15

Update at 1920GMT 26NOV14

Turkish Airlines in Northern Winter 2015/16 season is expanding service to South Africa, with daily nonstop Istanbul Ataturk Cape Town service, on board Airbus A330 aircraft, from 25OCT15. Cape Town is currently served as 1-stop service via Johannesburg.

With this new nonstop service, Istanbul Ataturk Johannesburg will become terminator service with nearly identical schedule, however there will be changes to operational flight numbers from 25OCT15.

Abuja from March 2015

Turkish Airlines to Start Abuja Service from March 2015

Turkish Airlines from 03MAR15 is launching new route to Nigeria, as the airline plans 5 weekly Istanbul Ataturk Abuja service. Boeing 737-900ER is scheduled to operate this route.

Which destinations are planned for the 2015-2016 period?

Manila (Philippines), San Francisco (USA), Hanoi (Vietnam) and Miami (USA) are in our schedule for international lines; we also plan to open Hakkari/Ykseova for domestic line.
