Has TK finally given up on MEX? Altitude problems and such...?

This is extremely welcome news. I didn't see that posted elsewhere. I assume then that's one daytime slot and one midnight slot? Really hope they upgrade that night service to 77W at some point.

I guess that's going to have to be adjusted again as soon as they work out their Haneda timing because the current schedule for TK52/53 doesn't work into HNDs night flight schedule. Having said that, I'm also not convinced that simply swapping the planes will have the desired effect I was hoping for. I suppose a lot of people paying the C and D fares will just shift to the night flight to stay on the 77W and poor blokes like me paying a J fare will still get stuck on the 332. (I say that slightly tongue in cheek, but I have seen quite a few times when J or K was sold out on TK50/51 but wide open on TK52/53) This will be nice though for times I'm flying Comfort Class since I prefer the timing of the night flight. (assuming that stays around a few more years).

Turkish Airlines Delays Luanda Launch to Jan 2015

Turkish Airlines has delayed planned service to Luanda, due to start from 17SEP14. The Star Alliance member has rescheduled Istanbul Ataturk – Luanda service launch to 04JAN15, as the airline removed the flights for travel between 17SEP14 and 31DEC14.

Planned schedule from 04JAN15 as follow.

TK555 IST0050 – 0745LAD 332 37
TK556 LAD0135 – 1030IST 332 14

Turkish Airlines from 15OCT14 introduces new service to Ukraine, with 4 weekly Istanbul Ataturk – Kherson operation, on board Airbus A320 aircraft.

TK471 IST1235 – 1415KHE 320 x124
TK472 KHE1515 – 1720IST 320 x124

Service also operates with A319 on selected dates.
